Sara’s in-home studio located in Lone Tree, Colorado, offers one-on-one piano, violin, viola, composition and music theory lessons to students of all ages and levels. She also teaches limited online lessons.

Lessons are generally scheduled once a week for 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions and include both on and off bench activities including improvisation, sight-reading, composition, music theory and building a diverse repertoire. Twice a week sessions strongly recommended for young beginners.

Each student is unique. Sara strives to create a supportive and positive environment to encourage students to explore musical expression. A holistic approach allows students to become musically literate at their instrument through sightreading, improvisation, ear training, theory and composition.

Lessons are fun! Students leave happier than when they first walked in the door. Even though we work hard on music, we laugh and play games and joke around.
